I am blessed by adoption in so many ways. My husband (and law partner) and I have adopted 4 children (and fostered others). I have the privilege of having a law practice that is all about adoption. Over the years, I have helped many families adopt children, and have helped birth parents find loving homes for precious children. I have been doing this for enough years now that I sometimes find myself approached by a young adult when I’m out in the community who recognizes me from his or her “adoption day” photos. It is humbling, really, to be a part of something so wondrous.
